  1. Hey guys! Same system no changes for at least 15 years.
  2. That would be my experience
  3. Yes, among the Amazon sword plants. Hope you're all doing well, Happy New Year!
  4. Craig is good like that. Most any upgrade is available for the right amount.
  5. Nice summary there Picky. It looks like you all had a great time, I am sorry I missed it. I hope to make it to another pilgrimage in the future. Cheers!
  6. A legend indeed. He will be missed. :-(
  7. Hope iyou're having a good one Craig and that all is well. I haven't been around here in a LONG time nor have I spoken with you lately. Let's catch up soon. Hello to all my other Klipsch Forum pals as well!
  8. Oh I don't know, I prefer Thunderbird, TJ Swann or Mad Dog 20/20 myself [] Hi everyone! Yes, I have been away for a while. I've been busy with work, family, my mountain biking addiction and just listening to music. Hope all is well in tha land of Klipsch.
  9. A Sansui 9090db with La Scala, Cornwalls and Heresy's = ear bleeder. I've had and listened extensively to all the combos afore mentioned. I had thought the 9090ddb was good at the time, but boy was I wrong, in fact, I was very wrong. Bottom line, get a good tube amp(s) and never look back. may the flames begin
  10. The BBX pairs very well. I have been running VRD's with a BBX on Cornwalls for several years. I have no plans to make any changes.
  11. Gregg, I'm happy to hear things went well. Best wishes to Paloma and your family.
  12. I'd say it's about time to resurrect this thread.
  13. I wish you and your family all the best Gregg!
  14. I have been powering Cornwalls with VRD's and JMA preamps (had a Peach and now run a BBX) for about three years. I have no plans to change amps or preamp anytime soon. Craig and Mark are both great at what they do.
  15. The case was built by Dan Crosby of Michigan. He has a website. HERE. I did all the refurb work myself under the guidance of a professional. I did clean and paint the transformers. I think if you keep track of your expenditures on a vintage piece, you'll probably spend more than you think you will. If you don't refurbish it and don't replace the old rectifier and burn your house down, it will cost you a lot more than I paid! Thanks for the website. I'll look into getting one from him when and if I ever get around to restoring mine. Oh, and I know exactly what you mean about spending more than you think you will.
