What they should be worth and the price of new ones aren't really the point. The market prices are what they are and there have been a lot of data ponts to explore from previous sales....condition is absolutely key along with exotic wood and finish which can drive premiums.

I recall some PWK signed Rosewood horns. I've seen some pretty pristine Walnut Oil horns.

One needs to consider local delivery--if they are local then a premium is worth not having to pay shipping and risk damage.
