unimorpheus
Does any one know why the RC-7 is so heavy? I need to install an RC-7 in my setup but the size and weight of the unit really make for a challenging setup.
sivadselim
it's the kryptonite
jephdood
I always thought it was those metallic woofers.
unimorpheus
I have always wondered where kryptonite fell on the periodic table. One would think it would be denser than lead but what about gold or uranium?
ygmn
Wood, Magnets, Crossover, etc etc.... All this stuff adds up...
PhilMays
And it's worth the weight. The RC-7 is one of the best sounding centers I have ever heard. Plenty of bass, a nice rich and full sound, frothy....oops I'm thinking of something else now. Seriously, I wouldn't change a thing on the RC-7. Compare it to a RC-35 and I think you'll agree. More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall floor standing speakers at a single bound! Look up in the sky! "It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Klipschman!
