CECAA850 Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 If you don't get any response here, try the Hometheaterspot. There is an SVS site there. A lot of the guys own or have heard the Ultra. It is supposed to be a better sub than my PB2+ but your getting into the law of diminishing returns at that point. If you can afford it, go for it, but if you settle for the PB2+ (hard to think that it would be considered "settling")I can't see where you would ever be disapointed. Carl. My current living/HT room is much bigger, with vaulted ceilings, and opens into the kitchen. I was spoiled by the "quake factor" of my PB2+ in the smaller room. I need to get that back, so jumped in on the recent pre-order of the black PB2 Ultra. I can't believe old EARs hasn't snapped up one yet. Of course he's still waiting for the B4 Ultra.
