kenratboy
Before I lug them upstairs, I want to know if you can give me a general idea how close I can place the speakers to the TV. I might have them 3' away - should this be enough? Thanks!
Dome
I would think 3' would be enough. Just set them next to the tube and inch them away until any effect is gone.
Professor.Ham.Slap
My cornwalls are sitting about six inches away from my television on either side. The bottom of the tube is aligned with the top of the squawker for your reference. This is with absolutely no interference from the magnets. Honestly, I don't think you have to worry about anything at all.
Guest Anonymous
3 feet, no problema 2 feet, no problema 1 foot is iffy if the woofers are close to the electronics. I have a cornwall, verticle on top of my TV, no problem, but, I once laid a chorus on its side in front of the TV and boy, the picture sucked
endover
The bottom of my Tube TV is approx. 2 feet(horizontally) from the top of my Chorus II's and I have NO problems whatsoever. I think you would run into more trouble if the big speakers were closer since they have the bigger magnets. In other words....don't listen to your Chorus II's upside down!
