Malcolm581
Hello all. New to the site. I have a silly question. I just recently purchased a RSW-12 Sub and am trying to hook it up to my Denon 4802 reciever. I have never owned a sub before so I don't know how to do this. I see you need RCA cables to wire it into the reciever. Do you plug the RCA cables into the SBR and SBL RCA jacks on the reciever? Thanks Can't wait to get it going! cdsang
Well, I looked at the manual online just simply looking at the back of your unit. I would suggest using the SW pre-out going to your RSW-12. Congrats on your sub purchase. Its an awsome sub. CD
Malcolm581
I guess just use 1 RCA jack / cable to and from the speaker to the reciever? The reason why I ask this is because on the back of the RSW-12 subwoofer, it has a Left and Right RCA out jacks. On the reciever there is only 1 RCA jack for the subwoofer. arthurs
CD got it. You might also think about a splitter to plug into both rca jacks on your RSW from the single run out of the Denon. I do this on my RSW-15 YMMV.
Malcolm581
Thanks for the reply. If I run 1 single RCA cable off of the Subwoofer to the single RCA jack on the reciever, what do I loose? Thanks again
