cjgeraci Posted December 6, 2004 Share Posted December 6, 2004 Ok, guys, more "stuff" from the find I stumbled onto. I am no longer a vinyl person, but maybe someone in my area wants this. A Marantz Dual 1228 turntable (if memory serves) with a middle of the road Shure cartridge. Some scratches on the dust cover, and the dust cover no longer hinges on (just sits on top of the turntable). From a limited hooking up, it sounds fine sonically though. Not even sure what something like this is even worth anymore. If someone in my general area (St.Louis/Illinois) wants it, I will give you a really good deal on it if you can pick it up. I would hate to have to ship this somewhere. If someone wants it shipped, we can try - but frankly shipping a turntable these days may be a risky proposition.
