ric
anyone have any in-put on B&K amps?,can they be reccomended with Klipsch RF7??? 125.2 or 200.2?
nicholtl
They can definitely be recommended with the RF7's, and given the two choices, go for the 200.2. More power is always better.
theryugobuddy
I've got a B&K ST202 (140 watts). Very sweet sound--its SS, but "tubey" sounding--I bought it because of recommendations on this Forum. They are a great fit for Klipsch-- Their preamps are great too--you can get a PT3 II off eBay for little more than $200.
soundx
ric, yes I like B&K with RF7's. Go for the 200.2. If you are thinking of purchasing new, the store should let you audition the amp with your speakers.
MrMcGoo
I used to run my RF-7s off of a B&K ST2140. It was a good sound, but the bass is much better with a 225 watt Sunfire. The B&K 200.2 would get my vote. The impedance dip in the bass frequencies on the RF-7s would benefit from the better design of the B&K Reference amps.
