ignorance_is_not_bliss Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Okay, call me an idiot, but you know how 20th Century Fox films used to open with the drums and orchestra, playing its own theme prior to the beginning of a movie? Well, the first time I heard the "Fox" theme was the opening to the movie "Star Wars" (A New Hope, to all you youngsters) I was 6 when it hit the theaters, and was one of many standoing in line to watch it... and boy, was I hooked! Anywho, For the LONGEST time, I thought the 20th Century Fox title musical theme WAS the opening of the Star Wars theme song. Just thought I'd share that with you folks... Every single time they'd hear the 20th Century theme, they would shout "Star Wars!" Hmmm...I wonder what Fox is going to do now that we're in the 21st Century??? Play the Star Wars Theme, perhaps?
