analogman
Al Green records are some of the most musical I've ever heard on my STEREO! Analogman

I was not aware that he ever did "Lean On Me". Analogman
garymd
Never heard The Reverend do Lean On Me. "Let's Stay Together" is still a GREAT song. Timeless. I saw him in '73 at Merriweather Post Pavillion when I was 13. First time I'd ever seen panties thrown on a stage. I don't even think Tom Jones could have topped it. 3dzapper
That is why I have a great deal of respect for Al Green. When his contempories were boozing and getting addicted, he was busy filling souls instead of holes. Even, for a while, giving up his lucrative recording career to minister those less fortunate.
