naka-pako
Someone may have already posted this here but there is a parametric eq hack for SBLive cards that is pretty awesome. Find it here: http://alive.singnet.com.sg/download/ Works with Win98/ME and Win2k. You'll need SBLive card and Liveware. It enhanced my older 4.1s quite a bit.......d
DJediMaster
I have been using the parametric eq for quite a while now and i agree it does enhance the sound of the v2.400's greatly especially the midrange. I'm just wondering...after tweaking with the eq, how does the v2.400 sound compare to the newer 4.1 system with reworked X-overs? ------------------ -Chron!cRAGE

DJediMaster
Yes, very easy to do imo. You just adjust the values/ranges for certain frequencies that sound the best to you. It gives you much more control over the traditional EQ. ------------------ -Chron!cRAGE

williamkusumo
How can i get a LiveWare!? I am new in soundcard stuff. I installed everything that came from the CD. So far, audio HQ offers nothing to me for listening music, playing FPS games and watching DVD. Is there anything better I should do? Anything I should download. I've checked those parameter EQ. I have a Promedia 4.1 and I don't think there's any problem with the sound quality. BUT, I do want to know what an almost $50 SB Live! Card could do other than having another plug-hole for rear speaker. Roobomb
I'm using ME, and I can't get it to work. It says I have a wrong or already patched file. It looks like my drivers are newer than the one it was made for. Does the old windows patch or the Win 2000 one work with ME?
