luckyjohnboy
I am trying to put a theater together and I have no idea what I need. I have a Marantz SR9300 rec., KG5.5 mains, KV3 center, and getting a Marantz DV8400 DVD player. I plan on buying the Sharp XV-Z12000 projector. I need to know what SS speakers to use on the sides and which in-wall speakers to use for the back 7.1.. My sub is a 12" velodyne.
Guest Anonymous
i actually would recomend a pair of kg 2.2's those are great speakers, i really like them adn i had a pair adn actually want another pair, but i am hoping to buy heritage soon, but anyways i would stick with the kg line as much as possible
marksdad
with the receiver you have you are making a mistake to even consider synergy, especially in wall/ceiling speakers, everything you mentioned is completly mediocre compared to the electronics, and will sound it
fletcherkane
I agree with gramas... The 2.2's sound great as surrounds...
jeffgeorge
I agree 2.2's would work nice. Just be careful with placement. They are rear ported, so you should not mount them right against the wall. Another option, if you have room, would be another used set of KG5.5's
