Shock-Late Posted March 9, 2005 Share Posted March 9, 2005 I have a spare "klipschorn"-like folded bass horn, bought by I don't know wich brand. The throat is larger than in the k-horn, and there's a 2inch thick wooden circle that separates the woofer gasket from it. So the front compression room is bigger than in the K-horn. I'd like to use it maybe as a subwoofer for my LS (but would it reach low enough??) Also i don't know wich woofer I could use in it. I could buy a K33 but I think' I'd rather go for a more powerful design since I only have ONE bass bin. 3dzapper Posted March 9, 2005 Share Posted March 9, 2005 A Khorn can rattle the windows with a 20Hz tone but it is basically inaudible because it is too far below the cut-off of the horn.
