Colterphoto1 visits Picky's HT

Added my HT seating yesterday. It is a set of 4 Coaster chairs in black leather. Not quite the quality of Picky's microsuede La-Z-Boy's, but pretty comfy. I've got em in the hearth room for now, but they'll eventually make their way to new basement theatre. Bought em from MikeWebb on Indy's west side. He has a nice Klipsch HT in a dedicated room on the main floor of his new home. It's the room off the front door, that would be normally used for home office or library. So it was the second 'small HT' I saw in as many days.

After witnessing Picky's room, I've decided to start preliminary plans for a dedicated HT room of my own. I've been trying to keep a dedicated photo shooting space in the long basement, but think I can wrangle space away for a 4 seat HT. Picky proved to me that it need'nt be huge. Maybe use my 4xRB system down there and keep Cornwalls upstairs for mostly music listening. So I might abandon the center Cornwall idea. maybe....

Always good to see a get together, even if it is for a short time, I know that I came away with quite a few ideas, when the time comes to build a dedicated room, first a house is in order.

Picky, his wife, myself and my girlfriend had a great time last may when I managed to get down for a day and a half. Supper at the Parthenon in Greektown was absolutely amazing, and Glenn and Verna were awesome hosts, taking the time to shuttle us around the city to see different areas.
