pcool
I currently own a ProMedia GMX A-2.1 and there is a hiss. one speaker is also louder than the other on lower volume. when i go to stores and listen to the speakers i notice that there is no hiss and the sound is balanced. is there something that i need to do to stop the hiss? WMcD
You're welcome here of course. However there is a section for ProMedia farther down the forum. Someone there may be able to help you better. Gil

dragonfyr
Doc may be onto at least a good part of the problem! A major shortcoming with PC based audio is the notorious & persistent issue regarding the proper shielding and isolation of the system from extraneous induced noise! Of course you could always consider a dual processor G5 Mac/ Avid setup with Digi-design ProTools And just think, with that rig you could even effectively edit out any detractors comments as noise!
