Also in Stereophile recently was an interview with Villchur and Allison: http://stereophile.com/interviews/105villchur/index3.html Allison made reduction of room interaction a central design point of his speakers. I don't think he really did much on it till the 70's, when he left AR to form Allison. Interesting that the Allison Three is a (maybe the only?) non-horn, corner speaker-- Got an good write up by Robert Greene in AbSound in November.
