Zen Traveler Posted May 1, 2005 Share Posted May 1, 2005 My fondest memories of Mayday were 7 years ago. I was in Interlaken, Switzerland and had been there a week. It was cloudy and dreary almost everyday I had been there. I hiked and cross country skied which was fun, but no where near the views of the landscape that Switzerland is famous for. I had 2 days left befor I had to go. I woke up the morning of May 1st and the sun was shining and the sky was crystal clear blue. I remember the crispness of the air and the tremendous beauty of the mountains. The atmosphere was electric and the skiing was GREAT!On every May 1st, I remember that experience as if it were yesterday. The Jungfrau region of Switzerland, the most beautiful place on Earth IMHO.
