hutulas Posted August 30, 2001 Share Posted August 30, 2001 Has anyone used Omnimount to mount RS-3's? or does anyone have an opinion on using this type of mount instead of attaching directly to the wall. It seems like a good idea as it allows you to move the speakers slightly depending on what you are listening to and where people are sitting in the room. SteveLee Posted August 31, 2001 Share Posted August 31, 2001 I used Omnimount brackets to hang a pair of KSF-S5's from the ceiling. I believe the S5's are similar size and weight to the RS-3's. The Omnimounts provide a very solid mount, and the flexibility gained in aiming the speakers is great. The hardest part about using these was finding actual joists in our ceiling -- my electronic "stud finder" seemed to pick up things like wiring much better than the joists!
