mrock
Can't wait for it to arrive. It'll be a fine replacement for my aging JBL-PSW1000. My Fortes will finally be able to have a real sub-woofer alongside them. Ohhh... ahhhhh... All those movies I get to re-watch. WOOHOO! My room is 18'x25' w/ cathedral ceilings. The front soundstage is along the 18' wall. I should be able to shake the whole room now.
dragonfyr
The Hsu is a very nice unit. You'll like it!
mrock
I sure hope so. I've read a lot of good things about them. It's been quite a year for my "hobby". First, the Denon 3805. Then the KLF-C7 Center speaker. And now, a real subwoofer. Re-cabling of speaker wires(thicker gauge/no splices) will be next.
psg
I have a Hsu STF-3 and it does a wonderful job in a room 11'x30'. The kick drum on The Easgles "Hell Freezes Over" pounds me in the chest and is "very" realistic (a drummer friend of mine couldn't believe the realism). You'll love it! SteelerFan
Good choice. One of the many good things about your new sub is it will be upgradable when HSU comes out with a new VTF-3HO sometime this summer.
Guest Anonymous
Mine just went on-line within the last few weeks. I am very happy and I am sure you will be too! I also did a ton of research and in retrospect, I do not have buyer's remorse. Good listening.
mrock
The shipper's package tracking indicates that the VTF3 has completed it's trek overland from the west coast, and is now on a truck heading to my house! Looks like I'll have something to do this evening.

mrock
I can't tell you how big of a smile I have, both inside and outside me. The first thing I played, was the test CD - That organ producing 16h was intense. I am listening to PeterGabriel's "So" CD. Lots of good musical bass. The sub fits right in with the Fortes. Off to an evening of bass-ing it.
