Mikekid Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Hi My Academy's tweeter (K-76-KV)just gave up on me tonight. I have tested it and it is definitely the tweeter. I have tried to look up parts on the Klipsch site with no luck. Does anyone here know if these are still available? Diaphram kit? Are they difficult to install? chuckears Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Mikekid, Email Klipsch (support@klipsch.com) or call during business hours (1-800-554-7724)... they can tell you if they have a replacement tweeter. BTW, How do you like the Hsu VTF3 with your system? I am running a Hsu 1220 cylinder, but am looking at the VTF3 as a second sub, to de-localize my system's bass response... justonemore Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 You can call 1-800-KLIPSCH for parts. I think it was 47 or 48 dollars for tweeter assembly. I asked for a tweeter diaphram and they said all they showed was a tweeter assembly. You should be able to contact BEC(Bob Crites) on the forum to get that tweeter diaphram. Very NICE & HELPFUL, I am glad he is a member here!! chuckears: I have had the Hsu now for a couple of years. I will never get rid of it either!
