Agent Eagle
I have a pair of RF-5's with two different Max power handling wattages. One is MAX of 150 watts, while the other's MAX is 250 watts... Which is accurate, and why the two different ratings. Are there two versions of the RF-5 ??
Speedball
Hi Eagle, Are you reading that from a plate or label on the speaker? That must be a an error in the labeling department or something.
doudou
any way your ears will blow berore you send 150 w to the speakers because it will be too loud so...is it soo important?
Agent Eagle
I'm reading it off the S/N label on the back of the speakers. I just happened to notice it, while I was rewiring my entertainment center. At any rate, I tried an experiment by moving the 250 watt speaker from right to left, then left to right. And upon calibrating that speaker, it was 3db hotter then the other speaker, regardless of where it was in the setup... That is why I asked if there were 2 versions of the RF-5...
