Heresy E-2 Crossover Parts

Recommended Posts

After some research through the archives I'm finally going to rebuild my Heresy crossovers. What are the values of the chokes used? Also, where has everyone else ordered their parts from? I've checked Welbourne Labs & TubesandMore.com, any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt Skeen

Matt, It has a 4mH inductor a 33uF capacitor and two 2uF capacitors plus the T2A autoformer. I have the schematic but no way to send it by computer, I can send it by mail if you'd like. I'm sure if you e-mailed Trey Cannon he could e-mail it to you. He's been very helpful, be patient it may take him a while to get to your e-mail. Let me know if you want me to send you a copy by mail. Dan

meskeen,

I recently built new crossovers for my 1978 Heresy's with the E network and it made a big improvement. I ordered the inductors from Solen(http://www.solen.ca), the caps from North Creek Music(http://www.northcreekmusic.com) & the autoformer from Universal Transformer Co (PO Box 1300 Wylie TX 75098 phone #'s voice (972) 442-2231 & fax (972) 442-2233. Hope this helps with your pursuit.
