coda Posted June 1, 2005 Share Posted June 1, 2005 JJ, that burning sax performance was from James Carter from the 50th anniversary tour last year, surprising energy is an understatement, his rendition of Coleman Hawkins Stuffy was my personal favorite. Another current PBS airing that is not to be missed is the American Masters Series on Ella Fitzgerald. A beautiful person, and voice, from an amazing music era.
