updawg Posted June 2, 2005 Share Posted June 2, 2005 haha not to put you or your wife down, this is just my opinion, that show is painful to watch. I was forced into watching it one day with the girlfriend and have I never had to give so many fake laughs. Jerry Blank (main character) is just harsh on the eyes and extremely irritating yuck! haha but to each is his own - I guess the show can have its moments something just seems off to me with it. Amy Sedaris (who played Jerry Blank) is a native of my hometown (Raleigh NC) and I used to see her around all the time. A useless factoid: her real-life brother is David Sedaris, the author and frequent NPR contributor (some may have heard his bit about being an Elf at Macy's one Christmas).
