  1. I took my Walmart $100.00 gift card and purchased a second Dualshock 3 controller. I may also purchase GrandTheftAuto 4 (strip tease). The gift card special expires after Fathers day...I think. Been watching the movie called The Eye...awsome clarity. SACD David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust sounds awsome.
  2. Buy it at Walmart for regular price of $499.99 and receive a $100.00 gift card toward the purchase of anything in store. 4. They all will sound better using the Old Stock / NOS tubes. The current Firecrackers from China will make these amps sound less warm.
  5. I noticed you have the good black belt on yours. Read this: http://stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=127130
  6. As of now Denon has not made a decision, so which ever format DENON decides to go with will be the winner...HDDVD or BLUE RAY? Have they made that decision yet? Probably be a universal player. http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/DVDPlayersAndChangers.asp
  7. Do not ***** out your virgin Chorus II crossovers, IMO it will reduce their resale value. What you really need is the simple DENON DRA-37 AM/FM 2 channel receiver with loundness button and tone controls for a full rich 3D sound. FM radio will sound simply awsome. I once called Klipsch asking about a good amp recommendation for my speakers and they recommended a new Denon . Circuit City has a 30 day 100% money back return policy if you do not like.
  8. If you like a warm and dynamic sound you must try Denon's DRA-37 AM/FM Stereo receiver. I promise this little 50watt receiver will wake up your Klipsch speakers. CircuitCity has a 30 day return policy. http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3389.asp I also purchased the Denon DP-300F turntable from Crutchfield. It also sounds wonderful http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3145.asp
  9. But the JM Peach does not have tone controls?
  10. Make sure it has tone controls much like the Mcintosh gear has! The Mcintosh C220 or C2200 bypassable, low distortion Bass and Treble controls will prove valuable for older recordings or may be bypassed when not needed.
  11. you know what I am going to say....... YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!. Oh the envy.
  12. The DENON DRA-37 is what I will recommend. The loudness button will make your bass shy Heresy's thump. Circuit City has these on sale $249.99 with a 30 day return policy if you do not like. http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3389.asp Yes I have heard tubes before.
  13. Here's the best price on HDMI cables. http://www.mycablemart.com/store/cart.php?m=product_list&c=58
  14. I love this forum......using the "tone defeat with loudness button" is just too good...... This amp has a TONE DEFEAT BUTTON, PURE DIRECT BUTTON, and a LOUDNESS BUTTON. Tone Defeat will reset your preset tone settings back to zero. Pure Direct will bypass all tone controls for... I quote "extreme high quality sound". Loudness is for using when volume is turned low. My ears preffer using the Loudness button in conjunction with the Tone Defeat button.
  15. Jesus Christ ! It was the rabbit. I told you...but noooo ! ha ha ha ha
  16. Yes...this simple Denon receiver sounds better than most high doller rigs. And it will work with any speaker because of its tone controls. When using the tone defeat with loudness button the sound is well balanced without brightness. Bass is verygood. FM Radio sounds awsome! My Sonic Impact Super-T amp, ASL1003 tube amp, and B&K system sound inferior to the Denon.
  17. I promise you can listen to a wide variety of music for hours. This is one great sounding amp.
  18. If you like a warm and dynamic sound you must try Denon's DRA-37 AM/FM Stereo receiver (on sale now at Circuit City $249.99). 19. Sorry to hijack this tread, but could this Radio Shack amp be the budget amp of the century? I think it sounds better than my basic Sonic Impact amp. http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=115659
  20. With this Preamp/AMP combo "we don't need no stinking corners". You will love the remote tone controlls and loudness feature. This combo matched with my ForteII's is ground shaking no matter where you place them[] http://www.bkcomp.com/preamp_tuner_wesay.asp http://www.bkcomp.com/st125.asp
  21. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed............Who played lead guitar?.................Dickey Betts? I too have the pink label version in vergood condition...Sorry Not For Sale
  22. Here's my Forte II speakers. BTW...do ya'll have any pictures of your wife naked? ......Do you want to buy some pictures of your wife naked?.....Just Joking[:$]
  23. I 'll take the integrated MAC with tone controls please. Tubes or Solid state...it doesn't matter!
  24. I thought it was common knowledge that when bi amping speakers you would drive the bass with solid state and the mids/treble with tubes. Simply because tubes cannot cut the mustard when it comes down to good tight low bass. Don't most all Scotts have tone controls. Do you have to turn the bass control way up to get good BLOATED bass from your speakers?
  25. Yea...my ASL amp sounds wonderful with my Grand Pianos but not with my Fortes. The Fortes really shine with my solid state B&K system (loudness button and tone controls). The main drawback with tubes is weak bass. I have to put my speakers very close to the wall to here deeper bass.
