toomanyspeakers
I realize that newer Kenwood equipment is not held in such high regard, however has anyone had experence with their top of the line Sovereign series?
Shiva
i have been using the kenwood sovereign 4090 now for the last 4 years and it has performed flawlessly. It handles 96khz signals for DVD-Audio and SACD. As it should, it decodes DTS and DD. It has its own HDCD decoder so you can play those CD's off of any player. It has 7 optical and coax imputs so there is very little worry of running out of them as in some AV receivers who only give you a few of them. a decent phono section, and preouts for a separate amplifier. As a pre-amp it can handle up 10 components. Not bad for something I got off U-Bid for $350.00. Of course if you want HDMI imputs as I do and 6 or 7 channel amp section, you will have to look elsewhere. I will replacing mine soon. nicholtl
Just how many speakers do you own, Mr. toomanyspeakers?
Corvette6769
I did not know that it was even possible to have too many speakers.
toomanyspeakers
Well actually I own a pair of Lascalas. a pair of B&W s and a pair of Magnepans. Different room different sound. Of coarse the Klipsch speakers are my favorites. Dan
