occam Posted July 4, 2005 Share Posted July 4, 2005 Since I mostly use computer speakers for music CDs and internet radio and not gaming would I benefit from 4.1 or 5.1 speakers. If I use 4.1s or 5.1s am I just getting expensive two channel performance? By the way if use 4.1s say with internet radio am I still getting just two stereo channels. Doesn't 4.1 require a 4.1 transmision or recording. I'll put out for a better system but I want to know the fundamentals of it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
