Southern
During a recent cookout with some neighbors, I cranked up my Dynaco ST-70/Klipsch Forte combo for the guys. One of my neighbors has a pair of B&O Penta's. After hearing my system we went over to his house to play the same music (Frank Zappa). Although the Penta's are a very well balanced speaker, my Klipsh outperformed them. The sound out of the Klipsch was clearer and more defined. The Dynaco/Klipsch combo (35 wpc) was much louder then the B&O system (150 wpc). It's amazing what tubes can due to Klipsch speakers. Number 9
I'm surprised you did not notice differences in the bass. Every B&O speaker I've heard had poor bass.

garymd
Yeah, but their TVs look cool in the mall. I'm guessing they'd outperform the Bo$e store in a mall shoot-out!
Southern
The music we were playing didn't have any real low bass and my Dynaco amp does not reproduce the low bass like my Pioneer SX-1980. I have plans to bi-amp my system using the Dynaco amp for the mids/tweeters and the Pioneer for the bass. The Penta's were the top of the line back in its day but the thing I don't like about the design is that you are stuck with the 150 wpc amp that are built into them.
