sseymour Posted September 21, 2001 Share Posted September 21, 2001 I have never built a speaker before, or much of anything else for that matter, but I got a good deal on a woofer and amp so I gave it a shot. I bought the Adire Audio Shiva 12" sub woofer and the 250 Watt subwoofer amp from parts express. After about 5 hours of work (not including glue drying time) and $260 I have a subwoofer that really hits low and loud. Klipschguy Posted September 21, 2001 Share Posted September 21, 2001 Hey Scott, Sounds like a rockin' sub. I don't know too much about the Shiva, but it has great specs and will move a lot of air. Audioreview.com has several reviews on this woofer under the subwoofer section. I always respect a do-it-yourself project done with pride.
