Protective Sheath For Cornwalls

Recommended Posts

For some time now I've been considering knitting a protective sheath to cover my vintage Cornwalls when not in use, similar to the "socks" used by golfers to protect their drivers (huh, isn't it funny--speakers have drivers, too. So do cars, and people cover cars...) ANYWAY, does anyone have expertise in this area? My wife quilts, but I feel having them knitted would feel "cozier."

Any thoughts on this? Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area, but there is no "Socks" category. Thanks in advance!
