Upgrade to 5.1

there is no real way to upgrade form teh original v2.400's to teh 4.1 because of a new crossover in the sub housed amp. i will assume you mean you paid $50US for a CP-1. It is not possible to "upgrade" teh 4.1's, 2.1's, or v2.400's to the 5.1 system. Different amp, different control pod (much different), and more power. the only way to upgrade is to buy a new set, sorry!cwm20.gif

NOPE

The 5.1 six channel amp is located in the sub. This is the main obstacle here. The canter could be added and even the control pod.So the answer is NOPE.

Try to sell the 4.1's if you need/want the 5.1's so badly. The 5.1's have more power and better bass, the twin 8" sub drivers deliver the goods like no other PC

sub.
