jvcarter
Best Buy is currently offering a free quintet system with the purchase of $499+ in recievers and/or speakers. Can someone tell me a little about the system. I personally have a reference setup but I am trying to shop for my brother. He is looking at some HTIB options and I thought that pairing this with a high quality reciever would be a better option for now and certainly if he ever wanted to upgrade. Has anyone heard the qunitets?
thxsubwoofers
I have heard the Quintets last week. Sounds great for a hometheater in a box setup in my opinion, beats my Onkyo HTIB and my Panasonic HTIB. The bass hits are not bad for 3 1/2 speaker, but it still needs a subwoofer. By the way, what are you planning to pair with the speakers, the reciever or the speakers? Sub-10 or the Sub-12 will match it perfectly. Gotta have the bass with the Quintets.[]
IAmtnbikr
The thing to do is buy a Sub-12 for the $499 price and get the Quintet system free to go with it...
