Morton
.....I'm taking my son and his band to the PTree concert. They're all 17 and are nuts about them. I saw them headlining for YES a few years ago and was blown away. Bob
TEXASRONANDTRISH
WOW Yes and PT, I could die a happy man. Since Scooter won't come witrh me to Houston[] I'll have to recruit someone else. Rumors are flying of a Genesis reunion with Peter Gabriel, I'd fly anywhere for that one.Ron

AndyKubicki
Wow! Although I have never yet seen them, many are telling me I need to, and one of these days, I will. Nick, we'll have to hook up for that concert should one happen soon. All this prog talk here, I love it! Genesis, PT.... I have been hanging out on My Space. There have been some good less known bands I have discovered there. any one hear of Helmet of Gnats? I was totally impressed with their music! Also, a new band from the UK called Combination Head... I'll post a few links here, you can listen to each of their samples- the samples which made me order some of these :-) Many of my friends who like PT also like many of these bands, so, here ya go: http://www.myspace.com/helmetofgnats (they blew me away! They have a hybrid CD/SACD) (I need an SACD player!) http://www.myspace.com/combinationheaduk (Good stuff! I bought their CD and LOVE it!) http://www.myspace.com/ladylakemusic (I have both their CD, and like their style) http://www.myspace.com/cashromantic (A very good Polish band with many influences...reminded me of Michal Urbaniak) http://www.myspace.com/adventmusicnet (These boys are very good- lots of Gentle Giant influence) http://www.myspace.com/mikekeneally (This guy is crazy good! He played with Zappa. Nuff said) For jazz lovers, http://www.myspace.com/ronkobayashi Nick, Tom, Wayne, or anyone in the So Cal area, they play on the first Tuesday of every month in Fullerton...maybe we could have a little Klipsch forum contingent visit? You never know who will be sitting in with these guys...awesome musicians! And guys like these have played with them: http://www.myspace.com/joejewell http://www.myspace.com/kenrosser BTW- all this music sounds GREAT on K-Horns! ;-)
JBryan
PT is coming through Baltimore on Tuesday. They must be doing something right since every time they come to town, they play in a larger venue. With the NEARfest coming up June 21-23, there are a lot of progressive-type bands in the area between now and then.
meagain
JBryan - you should go. Really. Even if sold out, there's always someone selling an extra ticket or 2. They're doing a 2nd show here 6-1 but my husband will be out of town. If I'm stuck, I'm going alone. LOL No-brainer. Where's Scooterdog?!
