RTTR
Being that I will beable to afford RF-7's How many of you would say buy the RF-7's over RF-35's or RF-5's? Dr. Who says the RF-7's 10" woofers can't produce upto 2000hz in which the crossover happens between the horn and the woofer, but not to fully disagree with him, I'm pretty sure a 10" woofer is capable of pretty high range, I've seen many high end and powerful 10" woofers capable of 3000hz, 4000hz, and some even 7000hz, while still being able to produce low frequency accurately. Sorry for all these quesitons, I'm just making sure I'm going to be happy with this setup I'm building. I don't want to buy for example the RF-35's and regret it a few weeks down the road wishing I had gotten the RF-7's
capo72
Why don't you listen to them all, and buy the one that sounds best to you. Not necessarily the one that cost the most, or has the most prestiege. It sounds to me like you are trying to make up your mind based on numbers and not on what sounds good to you. Colin
generally bigger is better, bookshelf speakers need stands anyway...

Jeremy Just out of curiosity, do your RF-7's sound like they are a little soft in the midrange? Compared to my Cornwalls, yes they do sound a little soft if the mids, but compared to most other "new" speakers i've listened to, no. I don't think there is anything at that price point that compares to the RF-7. They are strong and accurate top to bottom. This is my opinion and may not reflect the feelings of alot of others here, but this is what I here. Jeremy
