Can someone recommend a site that offers custom shelving to place stereo components on.

Salamander designs offers their archetype racks, which is nothing more than plated threaded rod, a bunch of washers and nuts, and predrilled shelving. IE: they can be adjusted anytime, infinately adjustable shelves.

Some places like www.audioadvisor.com are a good source for racks with adjustable shelving.

There are many boutique brands with extravagent prices, and there are decent pieces that are not to expensive.

If you want truly custom, be prepared to shell out some big $$, you could see your local cabinetmaker as well. The only disadvantage, if you do not have adjustable shelves, and you change equipment down the road, it may not fit.

I have found that most cheap racks are very limited when it comes to adjustability, either too tight a gap, or to big.

I have threaded rod to build myself a rack, similar in style to the salamander, for a lot less money, just have not had the time and shop space to rip a sheet of material and finish the shelves.
