I know that the Academy is the perfect match, but it also is the most expensive and hard to find center. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. Just narrow the speaker search to Klipsch and Center channels, and they will pop right up. As a Forte owner who used a 2.2v between my Fortes for a couple of years, I can tell you personally that the C7 is light years ahead of the 2.2. RichardP Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 The KLFC7 weighs 38 lbs. If your TV or shelf can handle 50 lbs, you might try a Quartet. It matches the Forte very closely, as it was the smaller "brother" in the Quartet-Forte-Chorus lineup. Pairs usually run $300-$450 on Ebay.
