djk
If someone would like what Klipsch used on the original K5 with the vanes, there is a WE713C on eBay. The price is $6000 a pair (blown), and one NOS diaphragm is available for $4250. A blown pair of diaphragms are $2250. http://cgi.ebay.com/WESTERN-ELECTRIC-713C-Horn-Drivers_W0QQitemZ5847356879QQcategoryZ73372QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Allan Songer
I don't think the frenzy for WE gear is what it was a few years ago in Japan--doubt he will sell this stuff for these prices in the current market.
djk
I hope you're right, Allan. Seeing these kind of prices makes me feel ill.

djk
"There,s a company in Japan that makes exact copies for alot less. " I know they make WE555 copies, but I haven't seen a WE713C copy. The 713C has much more high end than the 555, the phase plug is quite different. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5848884324 I wonder if this would fit an Atlas PD5V? The design of the phase plug was a copy of the WE555.
