D-Rex
Will any future or do any present DVDs players have a firewire connection? I know there is certainly no 1080p content available but I would not want to spend the extra $1000 or more just to have to replace my big purchase sonner than expected... Larry1
I know the Mits can accept 1080p via Firewire - I am not sure on HDMI and other stuff. I have read that some Blu-Ray players will come with 1080P HDMI Outputs, but the current Samsung, Mitsubishi 1080P sets with HDMI only accept sources up to 1080i. uggggh! Here's a confirmation of 1080p inputs. So it looks like if you wait the updated 1080P sets will have 1080P inputs. Saw that a JVC rep mentioned that the new HDILA's are 1080P (input/output) including HDMI?
