Soundthought
Hi all, I'm looking at this Yamaha C-2a and was wondering what people had to say about it. Hard to find any information about it, though, it does appear to be a well built piece. What little I have read suggests that it has a good phono stage and something like .002.% overall THD. But...that's really the extent of what I know. Any comments are appreciated. Regards, John

JCturboT
Soundthought, Don't know if you checked out the Yamaha site but here is some basic info- http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/av/english/SepA/C-2a.pdfThere is also some good info on the Audiokarma site-http://audiokarma.org/forums/search.php?searchid=661859I own two complete Yamaha sets, the 2000 series, and the 85 series, both TOTL from Yamaha in their day and am very happy as they match up quite nicely with the ultra-sensitive Klipschorns, which as we all know show any faults in the chain. If I can come up with any more info I will let you know.Jeff
Mike Lindsey
I'm not familiar with the C2a, but I have owned the M4/C4/T7 combo since 1982 and have never had any complaints with it. I use mine with my 76 Heresy's. Mike
