shload
I'm a total non-Techie and would like to know what people are using to stream an internet station through their stereo system. I don't have a music library on my computer so I would just be using the computer as a FM tuner. I have a laptop with DSL and wireless in my house. Looking to get the best sound quality through the setup. Thanks for any help or thoughts. Joe
Bill H.
Load, I just use Real Audio, and using the radio stations they offer . I stream www.beethoven.com all the time. ( I just use the free service, not Pass or any program that requires me to pay)...........

Bill H.
shload, I don't have wireless, but I use a 1/8inch headphone plugin connected to RCA cable running from my computer to my Int Amp, with RCA plugs at the end, to the Aux plug in. Sorry I wasn't clearer.......... plays beautifuly thru my 2 channel system!
tigerwoodKhorns
You need a sound card. Get an "Audiophile 2496" for about $100 and use its DAC's or for better sound get a cheaper soundcard with optical digital out and use an outboard DAC that has good jitter control.
