If not how so?

Also where is the center speaker with the larger tweeter and 2 drivers. I like the look of a center speaker with the larger tweeter and 4 drivers;however, why not make the floor standing speakers with a large tweeter and 4 drivers also. Ahhh, why can't we have a perfect match for the center and mains with the larger tweeter?

The RF-82 did replace the RF-35, but if I understand the chronology,

the 35's replace the 3's. If so, both answers are correct.

Yamaha Rx-V757

Fronts = RF-82s

Center = RC-62

Sub = RW-10

Rears = CDT-5800-Cs

Surrounds = CDT-5650-Cs

and around the pool are four AW-650s

Same place in the lineage...but the RF-82's have a better horn design that is new on the series IV. It is much more extended and a lot smoother. RF-82's are a big sweet spot in the line in my book...decently priced, extended and they kick butt.

I just wish they had a twin 8" center out to match them...just about to do a system for a customer with them and we ended up going to an RB-81 for the center. I also wish there was an RB-83 with the same bigger compression driver as the RF-83...oh well, one can always hope [:P]
