ckonst
Anybody knows from which material(conductor) is the bridge for not bi-wiring connection made?
ironwoods
Hi, most are copper, but you can use just about anything that IS a conductor. A piece or "stripped-out" extension, of your chosen speaker wire, if you go with bare termination.

This is only right solution for non bi-wire connection, if a conductor non OFC contained.
ckonst
Hi, most are copper Support has me answered: Those are brass jumper straps. Brass and Copper are not the same conductors, or i wrong ?
ironwoods
No you're not wrong, I didn't know which ones you were refering to. (those???). Most brass is a solid mix of mostly *copper* and zinc, usually > 50% copper. I'm sure there are some who would say they could identify which is which, sonically. Joe Shmoe
I think I remember Bob G back in the day stating that a chunk of Braided (ehem....monster) Was better than using the jumper plate.
efzauner
For the short distance and relatively large piece of brass, there will not be any difference between copper or brass. Please do your homework before you disagree.
ckonst
Most brass is a solid mix of mostly *copper* and zinc, usually > 50% copper. Ok, thanks. IMHO, the best conductors (for sonic signal) are copper and silver.
