Grizzly Man

What an amazing movie--a documentary that keeps your interest throughout --and its only about one man. It starts by investigating his death by a grizzly and analyzing his self shot video--

He "protects" grizzly bears in the Alaskan wilderness for 13 some years by camping and living with them-alone. The background details from friends and relatives gives alot of insight why he does this. Did he have a death wish? I think he did--

A deep character study of a troubled man -- the film he took of the bears and foxes is incredible--he was one brave --or crazy-- person--

yeah-- couldn't believe she went up there with him. She believed he would protect her?

Why wouldn't they have put the audio of them being killed on the extras of the DVD? Maybe it will show up somewhere else (Faces of Death?)

Incredible to see him looking around in that last video like he wanted to get himself being attacked on camera--

This guy had no training or expertise to do what he did. He did not do the bears any favors as they now feel they can/should approach humans. They're in more danger now than ever prior to this guys interloping. The bear who eventually ate them had to be executed because he allowed that animal access to the taste of human flesh. He was not mentally stable and the people who paid his way to conduct this work should examine their own souls for the guilt in his death. The film he made should best be employed in psyche profiling/training and merits no praise as some other tilted person will find some oddball incentive to repeat this lunacy. He was pitiful.
