jbsl
Well with around 40 minutes left these nice KHorns are going to go for a nice price, US $3,077.
meagain
Don't remind me. I missed the auction for the Chicago pair at $2037. It's kept me up at night. I'm sick about it. Those are pretty. I'd like to make mine look that color. Mine are poop brown walnut.
jbsl
Have you done any posts for suggestions about ways to "Purty Up" your KHorns? Someone might have a way to help you. I don't think there is any quick and easy fix for you but I am sure there is a way to make them look better if you are willing to do it. Throw some posts out there for suggestions and see if any of them would work.
meagain
Yes - back when I posted that I bought khorns, I complained about their lack of warmth (as in that ebay ad) and had some suggestions. I have been TRYING to wait for the search engine to come back up to look through all the re-dos that hopefully have pictures. I can't believe I missed the local khorn auction close. It just needed some edge banding repair on the bottom and had some 'minor' water stains on the tops.
Jeff Matthews
Meagain, I think your KHorns look fine. If they appear a little dull to you (which was what you said in one of your early posts), I think you could apply several clear coats with buffing in between to bring out a glow.
