pocketchange Posted March 6, 2006 Author Share Posted March 6, 2006 After it was suggested Ememience (sp) was the maker for Klipsch, contact was made and they mentioned something about it being a priority design with no parts available... Klipsch simply would not/didn't make any sort of a reply. After visiting with Allen Speaker Repair here in Houston, I was told not to worry and all that is needed was for a Klipsch repair station to make repairs. This has a good ending... the K-1023 is fixed. ($49) with parts that look to be identical to the origional and my only problem is the speaker repair looks better than the origional and my KG5.5 can now find a new home.
