You could try E-Bay, but . . . you get what you pay for, and not always much of a bargain.

May I suggest you consider the new Reference IV line. You won't

spend that much more to get the warranty. Plus, I can tell you

from experience, finding a deal is difficult. I spent countless

hours scouring ads, E-Bay and other auction sites, as well as searching

"whole sale" sites on the internet and all the speakers I found were

either no bargain, damaged, or coming from questionable sources.

In the end, I just bought new RF-82s and even got them from my local

dealer for the same price some "Discounters" on the internet wanted for

RF-35's that were advertised as "close out stock".

Thank you for your input. I will definately try to find a dealer in my area. I did the "find a dealer" tab, but unfortunately all the dealers in my area don't sell Reference. Oh well, if i have to i will drive to Bellingham Wa. Thanks again, Daryl

I am not familiar with the Klipsch Dealer Agreements, but I am sure

they allow dealers to "drop ship" to customers in thier sales area

(mail order is not permitted, but drop shipping in a designated sales

region is not mail order). Accordingly, if you know what you

want, no need to drive, just call the dealer, make your order, and have

Fed-Ex bring them to your door.

If that does not work, contact Kilpsch Customer Service. This

company not only makes excellent speakers, thier Customer Service and

Technical Support Departments are top notch. You will get a real

person with real answers, not someone reading from a transcript sitting

overseas with no clue.

Thank you ccsakura for the offer. Hopefully everything will fall into place for you. I would love to see some pictures. I am sure they are in good shape. I was wondering what the difference was between the RF-3's and the RF-3II's? I looked at the specs and can't find much of a difference. Is one better than the other in your opinion? Thanks again and i look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks. My pair is not in extremely great shape like brand new ones as most other used items do because one of them put next to the door and walk by it occasionally. However they work beautifully, that's all it counts [;)]

The RF-3IIs just used monster cable for internal wiring, otherwise they are identical to RF-3s as I could remember correctly.

Still did not take the picture yet as I did not have a chance to look for RF-83s yet. I will get everything done later as I am already awake for almost 24hours from the torture of biochemistry exam and driving for 5hours+ [|-)]
