Cleve
I can't believe how much these CF-4s are at, with 4 days to go... http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-Epic-CF-4-speakers-in-black-awesome-sound_W0QQitemZ9718676655QQcategoryZ61378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Either it's a fluke, or as CF-4s become scarcer, they're appreciating. colterphoto1
Hello Jim, was thinking about you on this issue. We're noticing a bit more activity lately. Don't you have an entire HT comprised of the Epic series? Could you describe pricing based on condition of the CF3 and CF4 from your experiences? And also do you have any listening comparisons to, say the Chorus or Cornwall? I found all of these speakers to compare pretty favorably. Thanks Michael

Flason
Aren't these the preferred CF4's? I remember a while back there was a thread where we learned that the CF4 came is 4 variations. The 4's with the 6" port depth were the most valuable of all as not only was the port longer, the drivers were very expensive. My 4's have a 2" depth port but still sound fantastic to me. Look for that old post and check the info.
marems
I will agree, But there were only 3 versions. I have the first versions with the 5" ports, The 1st versions were the best of all. and I must say they are very smooth. Ahead of the time when they came out. The 1st & 2nd woofers were more dense than the 3rd versions, which gave a smoother sound up to 1500 HZ.
