Northshore
I have a shot at an Aragon 2007 amp and was wondering if anyone knew when production ended on this unit and what would be a resonable price to pay. I believe this amp to be new with box and papers. Thanks for any advice, forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum.
Speedball
I checked Audiogon Bluebook for you and it says: Made in 2002 and sold new for $3000.00 and may sell used for $1860.00, of course it may vary somewhat. Here is a link to a review someone did on that amp....... http://www.avrev.com/equip/aragon2007/index.html Goodluck......!
IndyKlipschFan
U will be very happy with the amp. I have it upstairs with K horns and it is musical in 2 channel, as well as great for HT.
ancientdude
Had a chance to get one for 1300 a couple months ago on Audiogon. Dont pay too much more than that!

ancientdude
As picky as I am, I didnt see myself utilizing all 7 channels, so I passed on the deal... So im still looking at 5 channel power amps. The 2005 is where my eyes are set!
colterphoto1
Being not in current production, would you be worried about spare parts? I've heard Indy's unit and it's superb! Michael
IndyKlipschFan
Thanks Michael. In the Stage One I might have a scare.. I have been told get a UPS and usually if it was shipped working... your in luck. A few times it has had to re set itself..Unplug the power cord..wait ten seconds re plug it in and it works.. Not any problems at all, after the UPS connected. The power amp I have no issues or worries.. It is built like a tank, and I crossed the wires on set up pulling on them.. After several screws the fuse was repaired and all is well. So it did what it was designed to do, and protect the idiot hooking it up and save itself.
