concac Posted November 7, 2001 Share Posted November 7, 2001 I've heard somewhere that you can couple a 2 channel integrated amp (such as the Yamaha AX596) with a surround reciever (like the Yamaha HTR-5280) to form the 6.1 channel format with AX596 powering your front 2 channels and the HTR5280 powering your other 5 speakers. is this true?
