darkside
Which of these two subs would be a better performer (ie which goes lower, sounds better, etc.) in a home environment. Has anyone got any ideas about either?

kramskoi
that would be the TC-2000 model currently offered by TC sounds...It should easily surpass the Titanic MKIII...in distortion and output...
darkside
Okay, I thought so. Thanks

DrWho
At low signal levels they should have nearly identical frequency response in the same sized cabinet. But the extra excursion and power handling ability of the TC-2000 will allow it go about 3dB louder. This in itself isn't a big deal, but the TC-2000 is going to have much more linear behavior for the same SPL. I'd say on the order of 6dB less THD and way less power compression (thus better dynamics).
